How do you choose the right program for ‘you’?

Before you start to notice meaningful results on your fitness journey, it is important to know the breakdown of how long it takes to see and feel significant changes to your body. Understanding the journey is a major factor in your progress, so it’s best to be aware of what you can expect. Ask yourself, “Where am I right now?”

We call it a “journey” for a reason.

PHASE 1: Learning

The initial part of your fitness journey is a period of learning,' ‘breaking the ice’, and developing the right workout and nutrition habits. In other words, before you start burning fat and toning abs, you (and your body) have to learn how to do it right.

Learning how to perform effective workouts. Mastering the correct form. Understanding the type of food to eat and the best ways to take care of your body.

PHASE 2: Growing

This is the period where you’ve formed the habits. Your metabolism is increasing and so you begin to burn fat exponentially. You’re getting strong and fitter. You’re more motivated than ever and well on your way to reaching your personal fitness goals. 

The secret to reaching this point is consistency - in nutrition, training, and mindset; rest assured all three of which your MSFIT trainer will support you on.

PHASE 3: Sustaining

You’ve now transformed your physical appearance, mindset, and lifestyle; and you want to keep going! However, the human body is adaptive and you’re getting used to the intensity. The law of diminishing returns sets in which can be demotivating.

Time to get creative with workouts and switch up your diet. This is when a long-term program can maintain your drive and reduce any chance of regression.
